Admissions
How do I apply?
Fill in the online application form, or message our admissions team on WhatsApp and we will guide you. Apply now.
Which programme can I join?
It depends on your qualification. After Matric: LHV, CMW, CNA, FSc Medical Technology or a short course. After FSc Pre-Medical: DPT, BSN, Pharm-D, BS Medical Laboratory Technology or BS Operation Theatre Technology. Already a Registered Nurse: Post-RN BSN or Post Basic Nursing Specialties (ICU, CCU or A&E). The Programmes page helps you find the right one.
Can both male and female students apply?
Yes, most of our programmes are open to both male and female students. LHV and CMW are designed for female students. If you are unsure about a specific programme, just ask our admissions team.
What documents do I need for admission?
Bring copies of your educational certificates along with the admission form. Our admissions team will confirm the complete list of documents for your programme.
When do admissions open?
Admission dates vary by programme. Call or WhatsApp us for the current dates, and follow us on Instagram for announcements.
Programmes
How long are the programmes?
DPT and Pharm-D take 5 years, BSN 4 years, Post-RN BSN 2 years and Post Basic Nursing Specialties 1 year. LHV and CNA take 2 years, CMW 18 months and FSc Medical Technology 2 years. Short courses run from 1 to 3 months. For BS Medical Laboratory Technology, BS Operation Theatre Technology and Pharmacy Technician (B-Category), ask our admissions team for current details.
What is the difference between Post-RN BSN and Post Basic Nursing Specialties?
Both are for Registered Nurses. Post-RN BSN is a 2-year bachelor's degree. Post Basic Nursing Specialties is a 1-year specialisation in Critical Care (ICU), Cardiac Care (CCU) or Accident & Emergency (A&E). Ask our admissions team about current eligibility requirements.
Which FSc Medical Technology pathways do you offer?
FSc Medical Technology offers seven pathways: Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Operation Theatre Technology (OTT), Nursing, Dispensing Technology, Radiography & Imaging Technology, Physiotherapy Technology and Dental Technology.
Is the college recognised?
Our nursing programmes are recognised by the Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC), and nursing students take their examinations through the Nursing Examination Board Punjab (NEBP).
Fees and scholarships
What are the fees? Can I pay in instalments?
Fees depend on the programme and its length, and yes, you can pay in easy instalments rather than all at once. The fee covers your tuition, use of the laboratories and library, and clinical training arranged by the college. Hostel, mess and transport are charged separately, and children of factory workers study completely free. Call or WhatsApp our admissions team and we will give you the exact fee and instalment plan for the programme you want.
Are scholarships available?
Yes. Children of factory workers can study completely free, with free hostel and mess, free transport and a monthly stipend. Ask our admissions team about other scholarships you may be eligible for. See the Scholarships page.
Who qualifies for free education?
The free education scheme is for children of factory workers. Tell us on the application form that a parent is a factory worker, and our admissions team will tell you if you qualify. See the Scholarships page.
Campus and student life
Is hostel accommodation available?
Yes. We have separate hostels for boys and girls, with safe, supervised accommodation. Contact our admissions team for details about availability, rules and charges. See hostels on the Student life page.
Does the college provide transport?
Yes. College vans run on 8 routes for both boys and girls, covering Sheikhupura city, Farooqabad, Khanpur, Ferozewattwan, 4-Chak Rasala, Kot Abdul Malik, Muridke and Jhabran. See every route and its stops on the Student life page. If your area is not listed, ask us on WhatsApp.
What are the class timings?
Timings depend on the programme, and some programmes have both morning and evening classes. Call or WhatsApp us with the programme you are interested in and we will tell you its timings.
What facilities are on campus?
The campus has more than 20 air-conditioned classrooms with projectors, more than 12 medical labs, a computer lab with more than 70 computers and an e-library with over 5,000 books.
What do students do beyond classes?
Students take part in health awareness seminars, awareness campaigns, national day programmes such as Independence Day, and study visits. See the Student life page.
Clinical training and hospital
Where do students get clinical training?
Students first practise in our skills labs, then train in hospitals under the guidance of experienced faculty.
Does Medi have its own hospital?
Medi Teaching Hospital is being built next to the campus. You can ask to be notified when it opens on the Hospital page.
